Training Mentality... Why are you here?

People consider joining Ross Fit for a lot of reasons. To name a few..

- Accountability

- Guidance

- Social Interaction

- All of the above..


I think the best answer is 'All Of The Above'.. as clients we have to remain Present, Coachable and Enthusiastic about progressing in the gym in order to maximize our progress over a given amount of time. We give ourselves the best chance for success by showing up, paying attention and bringing a great attitude. With all 3 of these components we WILL see the results we desire. When we lack an element then other aspects of our fitness experience is bound to suffer.


As coaches, it is our job to keep things Consistent, Informative and Interesting. If we are doing our jobs correctly then clients are leaving one workout, lookin forward to the next.


I tell all of my clients you have 4 goals, every day.

  1. Nutrition - It is imperative that you are eating towards your goals.

  2. Exercise - How can you expect your body to look the way you want it to without training it?

  3. Hydration - A Dehydrated body cannot perform up to expectations, its simple. The average person must do their best to drink a gallon a day, every day.

  4. Sleep - What people tend to sacrifice the most. Without proper rest, you wont recover, if you dont recover you will not progress.

If you are completely out of whack then do not start by trying to master

them all in one day... Slowly prioritize one element at a time until you have control of all four.
